Bats are unique among mammals. By focusing solely on bats and the habitats they depend, BATlife Ghana, a registered Ghanaian NGO under Companies Act, 1963 (Act 179) is working to promote a better life for bats and ensure their long term survival in their natural habitat.  BATlife Ghana aims to:

1.    prevent local extinction of threatened Ghanaian bats
2.    conserve Important Bat Areas (IBA's) in Ghana
3.    create a supportive society where Ghanaians can comfortably live with bats
4.    build capacity for bat research and conservation in Ghana
